This guide covers online 90-day reporting (TM.47) through the Immigration Bureau e-Service — not visa extensions, not TM.30 address filing. If you already know you must report, the general rules are in 90-day reporting overview. Here we walk through the digital channel only.
Who can use online reporting
Online filing is for holders who already have an Immigration profile and whose province accepts e-Service submissions. Typical candidates:
- Non-Immigrant extensions renewed at a participating office
- Long-stay permissions where a prior TM.47 receipt exists
- DTV and retirement holders after their first in-person report
Usually not online on day one: brand-new long-stay entries with no prior TM.47 history, some provincial offices outside Bangkok, and cases where your address record does not match TM.30.

Before you log in
Prepare before opening e-Service
- Passport biodata page scan (readable, no glare)
- Current visa / extension page scan
- Previous TM.47 receipt (date and reference number)
- Current address matching TM.30 where possible
- Mobile number that receives Thai SMS OTP
- File before day 90 — not on the deadline morning

An address mismatch between TM.30 and TM.47 is a common online rejection reason. Update TM.30 after a move before you file TM.47.

Open Immigration e-Service
Use the official Immigration Bureau portal linked from immigration.go.th. Avoid third-party “reporting apps” that are not government-run.

Register or sign in
Create an account with passport details. Verification may require an in-person visit first — many foreigners complete initial registration at Chaeng Watthana or their provincial office.

Select 90-day notification (TM.47)
Choose the reporting menu, not extension or re-entry modules. Confirm your last report date matches your receipt.

Enter address and contact details
Use the same address as your lease and TM.30 receipt. Typos in soi or building number cause silent rejections.

Upload scans and submit
Follow the portal’s file size and format limits. Submit at least several days before day 90 in case the system queues your file for manual review.

Save confirmation
Download or screenshot the submission reference. Set a calendar reminder 85 days out for the next cycle in stay tracker.
When online fails — go in person
If the portal shows an error, your profile is “pending,” or you receive no confirmation within a reasonable window, visit Immigration before the deadline. “The website was down” is not a documented exemption from the late-report fine.

Is online reporting mandatory?
No — it is optional where offered. In-person TM.47 on paper remains valid everywhere.
Does online filing reset my visa expiry?
No. TM.47 is separate from visa extension. See TM.30 vs 90-day reporting.
Can I report from abroad?
No. TM.47 confirms you are in Thailand at your registered address. If you leave the country, the cycle typically resets on re-entry — see re-entry permit guide if you hold one.
What if I am one day late?
Expect the guideline 2,000 THB fine at the counter. File immediately; repeated lateness affects future extensions.
